This blog comes from an alternate reality. It's what happens when the members Siberia's most shocking band grow up, get married and move to Minnesota. Either that, or it's a semi-autobiographical blog hidden under layers of strippers, freakiness and metaphor. In any case, the Upir's Mark blog can be dirty, funny, but mostly bloggy! A Catnose Comics project: Harnessing inner demons for fun and profit.
Ah… Alice Cooper’s “The Last Temptation” – I remember picking up that cassette the week it came out, along with the related comic. (and it was one of the first 20 CDs I purchased).
Dunno if I’d consider “You’re My Temptation” C-rock, necessarily… particularly in that ‘Mercy’ is (in the related comic) a daemoness creation of the Showman – though she does end up helping Steven rather of ‘converting’ him.
Personally, I’ve used the song a couple times as the intro song on love/lust compilations for various *grins*. Damn beautiful!
The pronoun is “zir,” sugar. Delude yourselves in all of your happy heathen fantasies babies. The album and the book, were Christianized versions of Goethe’s Faust for the teenage set.

That’s what I told her!

Goethe was a pantheist and Gretchen was a goddess.
Alice Cooper is a Christian and same with Steven, at least in that album.
